Originally the Xbox One wasn’t supposed to include any backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games. Now there seems to be a consistent reveal lineup of games that will be included onto the new console.
Xbox fans are probably itching to know if their favorite games will be compatible with the new system and the answer is simple. Only time will tell. As unpleasant as that may sound, there is no real proof of a game coming to the system until it is officially revealed.
Or you get lucky like a specific fan who just asked Xbox Chief Phil Spencer directly about his favorite game. The fan had asked if the beloved Xbox 360 game: Blue Dragon had been being worked on to become compatible with the Xbox One to which Spencer answered: “I’m not allowed to say but yes.”
Another reason that it would seem predicting a game would be a waste of time is because Blue Dragon had only obtained a little under 11,000 votes which is low compared to other games. Yet it somehow included onto the new lineup.
Finally although Microsoft has yet to confirm their final plans for backwards compatibility in the future it is most likely that they will continue along this route, considering the massive amount of success of the Xbox 360.
