Blizzard Entertainment have revealed 2 new audio dramas entitled The Tomb of Sargeras, in preparation for the highly-anticipated expansion pack.

Narrated by Steven Pacey and written by Robert Brooks, both clips clock in around 20 minutes each, which you can listen to right here. This is common practice from Blizzard, who have used different forms of media to explore the lores of the Warcraft universe. Though its the first time they’ve used audio dramas, the past has seen them release books, comics and animated shorts to elaborate on the franchise’s backstory.

As for the expansion itself, Legion will allow players to raise their levels, as the cap has been raised from 100 to 110. It will also feature class-specific campaigns, new dungeons and raids, a new PvP progression system and customisable weaponry growing in strength as you progress. Taking place in the Broken Isles several years after the events of Warlords of Draenor, players must prevent the imminent invasion of the Burning Legion, foreseen by the Archmage Khadgar.

World of Warcraft: Legion will be the sixth expansion for the critically acclaimed MMORPG. Having been announced at Gamescom 2015, the pack will be released later this month on August 30th. Those who have pre-ordered the game will also receive early access to the new Demon Hunter class from August 9th.
