When it comes to certain things in life, loyalty is a must. For video games, especially games with online multiplayer, loyalty can be very important with features like guilds, raiding parties, war buddies, and tag-team partners. Knowing that you can put your trust in someone is essential to getting the most out of certain video game elements. However, in order to do that at all, you have to make a choice. For World of Warcraft players, the true loyalty test starts by making a not-so-simple choice: Alliance or Horde.
This question is one that divides a lot of World of Warcraft players, and for the longest time, it served as an instant definition of whether one could be “trusted” or not. Yet, as stated, it’s sometimes not a simple decision, as one Battle.net player realizes. To be fair, he acknowledges that in the end, the choice is his, and his alone. And once you make it, you can’t change it without making a new character. Thus, it’s an important one. So, he asked his fellow World of Warcraft players for assistance in helping him choose.
Many noted that certain races in the game can only be associated with Alliance or Horde. So if he picked one of those, he doesn’t have to worry about it. But, if he’s in one of the races that can be in either faction, he should focus on whatever aspect of Alliance or Horde appeals to him the most. Whether it be the leader of the group, who’s in the group, the things you can do in the faction, the races that are in the faction, etc. Though a player named Jem had some more…basic…reasoning…
I chose alliance because I won’t be seen playing some animal!
