Pilgrim’s Bounty just went live in World of Warcraft, lasting from November 21 to 28. Here’s what the event is all about.
Pilgrim’s Bounty is an event that gives players a chance to take a break from all the brutal warfare and their struggles against the Burning Legion, and spend some time on something completely different. This is the time when people from every race and faction gather and have a feast around the table, that is, if they managed to catch a turkey.
Chefs from around the world will prove how good their cooking is, and lots of things can be done to make this event fun and enjoyable by everyone, before getting back to slaying the first human a demon gets his eyes upon. Contests, duels, karaoke, or just simply talking to each other about daily stuff, like one would do with any regular friend, it all makes part of this event.
Turn the hunt into a competition (but please, don’t turn your friend into a turkey and make him run while you and your other friends hunt him down), to see who’s the best hunter in town!
“Pilgrim’s Bounty has begun in Azeroth. Even amidst the trials and travails, the members of the Horde and Alliance both pause to reflect on their good fortune and share with those around them. “
Through such events, World of Warcraft provides a unique opportunity for players to do casual activities and take a break from the hardcore content. They also further increase the role-playing effectiveness of the game as we immerse ourselves in this unique fantasy setting.
The event will only last a week, so be sure to enjoy every bit of it with your friends and make new ones while you are at it.
