The demonic armies are finally flooding into Azeroth as the Burning Legion returns in the sixth expansion in the World of Warcraft series. Blizzard Entertainment’s highly anticipated add-on World of Warcraft: Legion is now live, bringing Azeroth to the brink of extinction at the hands of warlock Gul’dan and an army more powerful than the Alliance or any Horde has ever faced before. To prevent Azeroth’s destruction, defenders must travel to the Broken Isles to unlock secrets buried within and master legendary Artifact Weapons in order to prevail. Pacts must be formed with the likes of Demon Hunters of the Illidari, the twisted disciples of Illidan the Betrayer.
A whole new array of features will be available with the expansion, including a new PvP system and the ability to level up all the way to level 110. With the new Demon Hunter class, head to the Order Halls to gather fellow members and embark on a whole new set of quests, including new locations and boss encounters. “We’re excited to return to one of Warcraft’s core conflicts – the ongoing war with the Burning Legion – and send players on their most epic adventure yet,” stated Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment.
World of Warcraft: Legion is now available in a standard edition (physically and digitally) for £34.99, as well as a deluxe edition for £49.99 featuring in-game items from a variety of Blizzard games.
