Earlier this week, community manager Lore on the World of Warcraft forums revealed details regarding the release of the Trial of Valor raid instance. These details included increasing rewards for Mythic Keystone dungeons in order to “keep them in line with the increased difficulty” with loot having a base level item of 870, as opposed to the previous 865, if you complete the dungeon at level 11 or higher.
The reaction to the forum post has received both positive and negative feedback. Whilst some people prefer these dungeons as an alternative to raids, others are growing tired of the grind required to get any kind of worthy reward from completing the same dungeon over and over. One response by member Chanyi replied: “As if having to do a 10/week was not enough, now I will have to push 12, yes, more dungeons, same old dungeons, which I’ve ran over 200 times, instead of having fun in a raid or completing storylines in the world.”
Forum member Zippi argued: “Then do it, it’s another loot avenue. I for one am glad that there’s finally some meaningful 5man stuff going on even if it’s just recycled instances with extra %’s tacked onto them.”
There’s quite a mixed response to the new implications as you can see, with some wanting more from their experience, whereas some are happy with this raid alternative to obtain loot. You can check out the forum post, as well as the rest of the mixed bag responses right here.
