Wonder Woman Injustice 2

We are less than a week away from the arrival of the highly anticipated Wonder Woman movie in the DCEU lineup. This will be the first live-action movie for the character, and there’s a lot of buzz surrounding it. With the arrival of the film imminent, it’s not surprising that DC Comics is using all aspects of their media reach to promote the film and the character. So since Injustice 2 is out, and Wonder Woman is in it, a natural crossover has come.

Long story short, the Injustice 2 version of Wonder Woman can have the armor and weapons that the Gal Gadot version of the character wears in the film unlocked in the game. This will be a part of the Mutliverse event in the game “To End All Wars” (which is a reference to WWI where the movie takes place) and if you beat it (presumably with Wonder Woman), you’ll get the Gal Gadot armor.

To show this off, NetherRealm and Warner Bros. released a mash-up trailer featuring Wonder Woman in both the film and in the game.

Now, there is a time limit in which you can get this armor, you have from now until June 5th to get it. So if you want to deck the Amazon Princess out in this armor, you need to do so soon.

The story of Wonder Woman in the Injustice universe is actually quite fascinating, as she’s one of the characters who underwent a massive change via this other world story. Here, she’s in love with Superman, and has supported him since the death of Lois Lane to the extent that she happily agrees with him ruling the world as leader of the Regime. She’s back in Injustice 2 though, so you know some action is about to go down.

The film releases on June 2nd, and Injustice 2 is out now on Xbox One and PS4.
