Yesterday, on the weekly Warframe Prime Time live stream, it was announced that there would be another contest in-game revolving around the photo or “Captura” mode. This time, to celebrate the release of Multiplayer Captura mode releasing across all platforms, the contest wants to see full squads in the submissions.
In a post released today on the official Warframe website, all the specifics for the contest were released. This includes the rules, prizes, examples, and how to enter. Much like the cosplay contest from last month, anyone looking to enter via a Twitter submission must be following the official Warframe Twitter and use the hashtag #CapturaCombat or they should be posting on the appropriate forum thread.
The rules are pretty simple and include things like ensuring that you list the in-game alias of everyone who appears in the photo, not stealing other player’s photos, and only submitting one photo per person. Players should also choose to either submit through Twitter or the Warframe forums – not both. Anyone who doesn’t follow the rules will be disqualified.
The important part for many of you, I’m sure, is the prize. There are 5 prizes altogether, 4 of which include the bonus of having your photo shared through the official Warframe twitter. The 5th place prize does not include this bonus but the winner still receives the in-game currency of 100 Platinum.
4th prize is 250 Plat, 3rd is 500, and 2nd is 750. The grand prize winner will receive 1000 Platinum. The full amount for each prize will be given to all participants of the winning submission. The contest itself will be judged by “their ability to create a unique and creative Multiplayer Captura image.”
Will you be entering for a chance to win 1000 Plat? If you plan on doing so, make sure you do it by the 29th of this month at 1 pm since that’s when the cutoff point is.
