Coming to VOD (video on demand) on December 15, Unlocked: The World of Games, Revealed is an 8-part genre defining documentary on the video game industry.
Directed, written and produced by the head of Mediajuice Studios, Jeremy Snead, Unlocked: The World of Games, Revealed is a documentary on the video game industry featuring a selection of celebrity correspondents such as Sean Astin (The Lord of The Rings, The Goonies), Matt Walsh (Ted, The Hangover), magician Penn Jilette, Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead), William Shatner (Star Trek), and Zelda Williams (Avatar: The Legend of Korra, King’s Quest). The 8-part series aims to explore untapped areas of the industry , like game design schools, the world of game journalism, the psychology behind video games, and how hospitals use games in therapy and rehabilitation programs.
Aiming to provide an informative yet entertaining insight on video games and the multimillionaire industry behind them, Unlocked: The World of Games, Revealed will have the correspondents introducing and exploring the aforementioned areas and more with the advantage of them understanding what they’re talking about instead of being just a famous face cast only to help sell. Zelda Williams, for example, is the daughter of late actor and comedian Robin Williams, who named her after princess Zelda of The Legend of Zelda franchise, developed and published by Nintendo.
Unlocked: The World of Games, Revealed is an 8-part documentary series available for streaming on December 15 from iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Steam. Pre-order is now available on the official website.
