For Atlas Reactor fans Season 01 of Ranked game came to a close on Jan 17th. With this ending, the leadup to Season 02 of Ranked play has begun. Although, before it officially starts, it will have a down period will last for two weeks until the start of Season 2 ranked on Jan 31th.
Now, just because Season 01 Ranked is over, doesn’t mean you can’t play Ranked matches, in fact, you are still able to be queued up for ranked games. However, they will not affect your rank score. Now that Season 01 is over, the Prestige Points are being allotted based on the ranks you got. You can use these Prestige Points to up the VFX of your characters, as well as other things.
Since Omni won the Trust War, the Omni affiliated freelancers will be released first, then Evos, then Warbotics, with Wildcards being dispersed in between. So pay attention so you don’t miss out on the chance to get, then test out, your new VFX abilities.
There are going to be some major changes to Atlas Reactors Season 02 Ranked gameplay. The team hopes the updated system will be a good mix between making Ranked less intimidating to new players, all the while keeping the top end as competitive as Season 1. For Season 2, each player starts in Bronze V and works their way up to Master rank. For every rank, up to Master rank, players will earn a fixed number of ranked points for a win, and lose a fixed number of ranked points for a loss. When a player hits 100 points, they move up a tier.
