Easter eggs are one of the most curious finds in video games, and upon discovery can provide a satisfying feeling as a game pays homage to whatever it desires, whether its from a previous game of their own or something completely separate. In this case, a user on Reddit has discovered somewhat of an Easter Egg in Overwatch.

User rfilmyer has come across a sound sample whilst having a mess around datamining over the past weekend, and realized that Tracer’s “Rewind” sound effect is actually broken into two different parts, which you can hear on the YouTube video below.

Curious as to see if there was some kind of Easter Egg within, rfilmyer tried reversing the sound. After doing so and reducing the sound to half, and eventually quarter speed, you can hear some kind of sound that says something along the lines of “move your body over here and go berserk.”

Check out the sound clip here, which was smoothed out by fellow Reddit user Radixan. Now that this has been discovered, it’ll be interesting to see just what is made of it. In terms of the song itself, the closest people can seem to find is Move Your Body by The Isley Brothers.

It’ll be curious to see whether Blizzard have anything to say on the matter now that it has been discovered, whether or not its a reference to the song above or something completely different. Its up in the air in terms of interpretation, feel free to have your own say in the comments section below.
