When the Nintendo Switch was first revealed, along with it came support from many third parties to bring some exciting titles to accompany the usual brand of games from the many Nintendo franchises.
Since then, many Nintendo Switch owners have been discussing what games that they would like to see ported to the console in the future, specifically late ports. Though this means that its games that have already existed for quite a long time, they could still be introducing a whole new audience to massive releases such as Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto V and more.
These seemingly timeless titles could bring an entirely new experience for the Switch, and to the game itself in terms of how it would be played, thanks to the new console’s on the go capabilities. In a thread on NeoGAF, fans posted what games they would like to see make the transition over to the Switch, prompted by the recent announcement of PayDay 2 making its way over.
Titles suggested include Dark Souls, Doom, Rocket League, Mass Effect, Overwatch, Sleeping Dogs, and even more recent titles such as Persona 5, and the yet to be released Tekken 7. This discussion wasn’t without Nintendo titles of the past being requested, with calls for Super Mario Maker, Paper Mario Color Splash and Xenoblade Chronicles X to be added to the line up. From my point of view, with the exclusives already set to come out, I’d be more than content to see Dark Souls 1-3 and Doom hit the Switch.
