For MMORPGs, sometimes its the simplest of things that can make for a grand event in the game. After all, with a massive world to partake in, numerous species to interact with, and so much more, it can be quite easy to think of something to use as a catalyst for a grand event. So, in the case of TERA, one such event is set to arrive tomorrow. And as revealed on their Steam page, you’ll be going on a truly noble pursuit of stopping egg thieves.

“It has come to our attention that the population of the vicious caiman egg thieves has heavily increased throughout the last few weeks.”

That’s how the message starts for the quest. But it’s not just eggs you’ll be saving, it’s items too. You see, the Calman race have not just stolen eggs, but items that you the players can get if you’re able to find them and hit them. Starting on August 1st and going until August 15th, the world of TERA will be filled with egg thieves.

If you’re able to spot them, race after them, and land a hit. That’s all it’ll take to send them running, but in doing so, they’ll drop an item for you.

There are plenty of rewards you can get from these egg thieves, and you can find the full list on the official announcement. Still not enough for you? Well, TERA has one more twist, there is also a Calman Giant Egg Thief out there. But only shows up for a few hours at a time. What’s more, he only gives his rewards to the player who does the most damage to him. So if you see him, kill him quick before someone tries to steal your item!
