Survival Horror FPS Game Final Hour On Kickstarter

Kickstarter continues to be a source of unique visions for video games, with titles that blend numerous genres together in an attempt to make something truly special and unique. Another such project has launched on Kickstarter recently. It’s called Final Hour, and it blends survival and horror gameplay elements with PvP and PvE of multiplayer titles, all set in a post-apocalyptic city that you have to try and survive in.

The game takes place in Barrowsville, the site of a disease that was released over 30 years ago. This disease is called Hydra, and when it was released, a lot of bad things happened. Not the least of which was that though who got infected by the disease were transformed into vicious mutants.

Now, 30 years later, the city has been taken back by nature, mutants are hidden within the city, and you must try and survive in it. Final Hour lets you explore every single building and floor within the city. But be careful, as you might not be alone in the place you are exploring.

Furthermore, as Barrowsville is a fully-developed city, that also means that time and weather are a factor you must account for. The game has a full-on day/night cycle, and the weather will change as time goes on. What’s worse is that the mutants within the city act differently in the day and in the night. In the day they hide themselves because the sun burns their skin. But at night they hunt, and they seek to take out any that they see.

The RPG experience comes through your character. You’ll build them the way you want, then level up their skills how you want. Make the perfect survivor based on what you feel is needed.

Final Hour is seeking $25,000 on Kickstarter, and will be on Kickstarter until July 28th. If you think this is a project you’d want to see come to life, check it out and support it.
