Fixing things in games is important for the developers who make them. For MMORPGs, this is vital, and must constantly be done as new things are added, updated, and adjusted. For Star Trek Online, they’ve recently added a Summer Event for people to enjoy. But, there have been some issues with it, so they set out to fix it. Now, the fix is here, and the update has already been added. To show you what they did, they made some Patch Notes. Here are the highlights.

In regards to the Summer Event, many things have been fixed or adjusted. For example, there was an arguing couple, some fireworks, and even some Klingons that should be around for some time as the day goes on. Yet, they only appeared for 20 seconds. Now? It’s 20 minutes every 2 hours.

Notice that your character doesn’t sit right in their beach chairs? Yep, that’s fixed too. You can now earn Lukari and Temporal Marks through Ornithologist that is on Risa, so don’t miss out on that.

As for other issues solved for the Summer Event, there were some clipping issues involving some guards, as well as male players swimsuits. The Photonic Fleet could be used in Social Zones, this is no longer possible. Certain models would not display properly, this too has been fixed. Certain rewards for tasks were not given out properly, this too has been dealt with.

There were other adjustments made to Star Trek Online, mainly to the Constitution and Miranda starships. The Soyuz class is now the new default for the Advanced Light Cruiser. The Constitution has been refitted and rebuilt, and now has the same material as the Miranda. Also, new parts are available for these ships and more.

Be sure to check out the full Patch Notes for everything that has been changed or altered.
