Star Ocean: Til The End Of Time

There are many franchises in the RPG world that fans love, but there are a few that stand out about all others, one of which is the Star Ocean franchise. Sure, it hasn’t been as loved as say Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest, but this series has had some of the best JRPGs ever made. If you don’t believe me, believe Sony, for they have just brought back one of the most popular entries in the series via Star Ocean: Til The End of Time to the PS4 with HD graphics for digital download.

What made Star Ocean: Til The End of Time resonate with fans and critics originally when it released on PS2 back in 2004 was its deep story, brilliant, and surprising amount of content. In fact, the American version was based off of the Directors’ Cut version of the title. Now, you experience it all over again, or for the first time, with boosted graphics on the PS4.

The game focuses on a young boy named Fayt Leingod. He’s on vacation with his family when an alien race attacks the planet he and his family are on. He’s forced to flee, and gets separated from them. As he travels numerous planets to find them, he finds out there’s something very wrong going on in the universe. Now, Fayt and his new allies have to rise up to stop the universe from being wiped from existence by a force even they can’t believe is real.

Star Ocean: Til The End of Time blends beautiful worlds and content with a free-flow RPG battle system that has you controlling three different characters at once. You can swap to another character in your party with the flick of a button, and can personally customize their movesets, how they attack and more.

So if you’re look for a new RPG to play, you wouldn’t be wrong to try out Star Ocean: Til The End of Time.
