Star Citizen is set to be one of the biggest video games in the history of gaming. With its growing fanbase (which often pledges money to it, making it the biggest crowdfunded game ever) and growing team of developers, the title is much more than a sci-fi shooter/simulation/adventure game, it’s something that’s truly universal. And as such, the team takes time every week to outline what has been going on in the game through a weekly newsletter. Here are the highlights of the latest one.

First up, a new vehicle has entered Star Citizen the Tumbril Cyclone. This vehicle is meant to traverse just about anything you can through at it. Regardless of whether it’s rocky terrain, icy expanses, or something else, the Cyclone can handle it. The best part though is that there are five versions of the Cyclone that you can pick up. So you can choose the one you think is best for your needs. The vehicle is on sale now for you to get.

As for the overall build, the Star Citizen team is hard at work on version 3.0 of the game. With each passing day and week they are adding more and more to it so that you the player can get your hands on it. They’re also though working hard to fix bugs that may arise from the new features.

What’s more, the team is teases some big things for the upcoming Gamescom. Even going so far as to note a “countdown clock” in one of the studio lunch rooms. They’re promising something big and special, but as to what, we’ll have to keep speculating.

Those features are more and more amazing. There is little that have not been done somehow elsewhere… but CIG push everything to its limit. That is what backers are looking for: Quality versus quantity!
