Star Citizen is a really special game, especially if you take into consideration that it has ships that cost over $500 and people buy them. Because they like the game so much. Well, if buying expensive ships is something you do, Star Citizen Alpha 2.5. is bringing some new ships for you to purchase!
Aegis Dynamics is bringing its own dominant military lineup, so expect some immensely powerful ships. The Avenger, Gladius, Retaliator, Sabre, Vanguard and Starfarer Gemini will all be ready for liftoff in Star Citizen Alpha 2.5. One of the ships, The Redeemer is already hangar ready, but it does require a vital update to take flight, so keep that in mind. The Reclaimer, Retaliator, and Vanguard modules are also currently in production, so you’ll have to wait a bit more for them. Star Citizen’s concept artists are also making a top secret Aegis design that will be launched next year.
If you’ve watched the game’s anniversary livestream, then you already know that a limited number of Idris-P and Javelin class capital ships will be available over the weekend, so use this chance to acquire them! Four allotments of the UEE War Bond editions will be available to Citizens all around the world, to give everyone a fair chance of getting them. Each of these allotment includes 200 Idris-P frigates and 50 Javelin destroyers, which is quite a lot of firepower. War Bond times are as following: 3pm Pacific on Friday, 9pm Pacific on Friday, 3am Pacific on Saturday and 9am Pacific on Sunday. The final allotment that will be purchasable with store credit will be available to everyone at 9am Pacific on Sunday.
The Prowler is also being sold for the first time as a limited concept sale. If you don’t know what this means, they’re basically saying that the ship’s design meet the developer’s specifications, but the ship is still not ready to be piloted in-game. But now is the best time to buy the ship, since its price will go up once its model gets done, so buying it now saves you money! If you want more details on the ship, click here.
