Square Enix has unveiled a brand new Spring trailer for Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age. This version of the game will build upon the core version of Final Fantasy XII, introducing a high-definition version rife with modern advancements, promising a more “beautiful and exhilarating” experience than ever before.

Check out the trailer below:

This version also makes improvements with a reconstructed battle design, and will also be the first time for western players to be able to experience the Zodiac Job System. This revamped version will be available on PlayStation 4 on July 11th, 2017.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age was revealed back in 2016, and was made playable for eager fans during last year’s E3. For those unfamiliar with this entry in the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XII follows a war unfolding in the world of Ivalice. The kingdom of Dalmasca is left in ruins after being decimated by the Archadian Empire. In response, heir to the throne Princess Ashe dedicates her life to help liberate her country of this threat. Joining her in this fight, albeit in unlikely circumstances, is a young man known as Vaan, who dreams of taking to the skies in search of freedom after losing his family in the war.

Keep your eyes peeled for more information on Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, which hits PS4 this July. Will you be picking up this remastered version of the classic when it releases this summer? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
