A Special Thanks to Blizzard for Diablo III

We often see Diablo III under fire online, and many times it is for perfectly valid reasons. It’s frustrating for many in regards to the severe botting issues that are present in the game, plus the lack of news on a constantly requested sequel, and the time between updates is often a source of frustration to many. Even the announcement of the new Necromancer class was tainted by a large number of fans who were expecting a bit more than a new class and a limited time event in the Darkening of Tristram announced at Blizzcon last year.

But there is a reason why there is so much heat from these circles of fans, and it’s because they are passionate about a beloved game. The motivation for wanting a better game comes from enjoying the experience in the first place. After all, why waste so much time and energy complaining about a game to improve after all this time after release if you didn’t enjoy it in the first place?

With that, it seems that the developers deserve some credit for bringing us a game that is very close to our hearts. I admittedly find myself among those who are slightly annoyed that there is nothing in regards to Diablo 4, and there’s no doubt that the game isn’t without it’s issues, just like most games.

Regardless, Diablo III is still a fantastic experience that deserves some recognition, and other fans have joined in doing so. user carnificin summed up pretty well:

Ty d3 developers i think you are doing great work. Ofc theres always something we can do better, but that’s not just d3 developers, its all games etc… Anyways all i can say is d3 is the only game i play at moment, and i don’t feel like playing another game, because its no so funny as d3 is. Diablo 3 have some magic that make you want to play it that other games don’t have.

If you’d like to leave your thanks, drop a comment in the section below, or head over to the official Diablo forums.
