So, in case you didn’t know, Space Hulk: Deathwing is an FPS that’s within the universe of Warhammer 40,000. Furthermore, it’s based on the Space Hulk boardgame which is also within that universe. The game is visually stunning because of its development on the Unreal Engine 4. The game is based on the gameplay of you and potentially three of your friends fighting a battle against your foes, the Genestealers on a space ship that is anything but open.
Rgardless, the game has been out for a while, and while people are mixed on how they feel about it, a lot are still playing it. That’s why the team is working hard on updates for the title. In fact, they’re working hard right now to bring you one soon. Thus, they’ve given a small update on what you can expect from the big update.
First off, there’s going to be more multiplayer weapons. One of these weapons is a flamethrower. Because why not? Then, for each class, you’ll get more options on what to bring into battle. Thus giving you a more customized experience each time you go to fight. For those hoping the loading times will be improved, they will be! As in multiplayer now, all four characters will load in at once, thus reducing the waiting time.
The teams top priority right now is fixing technical issues with the game, and the Unreal 4 Engine, they want to make sure you have as streamlined a process as possible. Once the update is ready, the team will release an open beta to test it all out. Not to mention, there’s going to be updates and free content Space Hulk: Deathwing coming throughout the year.
Finally, the team adamantly states that they’re listening to suggestions and feedback from their community on Steam, because they know it’s because of players like you that Space Hulk: Deathwing exists right now, and likely will exist for quite some time.
