Space Hulk: Deathwing is a first-person shooter developed by Streum On Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive. In Space Hulk: Deathwing, players get to experience a desperate battle against Genestealers in the claustrophobic tunnels of a Space Hulk. The game has just received its fifth beta update, which is now live.
This new update represents a brief overlook on the state of the game for the upcoming additional content that is expected to arrive later this year. To access this patch, players can right-click on Space Hulk: Deathwing in their Steam library, then go to Properties, then Betas. There they can select the beta “nextpatch,” and start their game to receive the update.
The fourth update for the beta was meant mostly for technical fixes and performance improvements. After they got rid of all of those problems and bugs, the developer’s focus was to make the gameplay feel as smooth as possible, while also working on more content and listening to feedback from the community. They have also mentioned that they aim to improve replay value and the game’s multiplayer.
This update also brought along a new game mode, called Special Missions. It can be played in the already existing maps and the new mode has players complete different objectives chosen at random. For now, this game mode is only available on SM_Chapter_01. According to the post, Special Missions will be playable on the other maps as well. To try the new mode, you can find it in the usual multiplayer lobby.
The developers want as much feedback as possible, so if you notice any bugs or have any technical difficulties, be sure to report it. For more info about this visit the announcement over at Steam.
