A cinematic trailer for the game was displayed during E3 2016. Two major points can be taken away from the trailer.

First, the game will be based upon a superhero theme. We can assume that items, locations, and skills will be largely inspired by the superhero culture. This inspiration can lead to hilariously satirical comedy for fans of the aforementioned group.

Second, South Park The Fractured But Whole will remain truthful to the trademarked South Park graphics and humor. This detail is important because it’s one of the main reasons its prequel was a critically-acclaimed success. Fans of the original TV show will discover yet another enjoyable game for themselves to experience.

Watch the comedic trailer for yourself for some dramatically silly humor:

South Park The Fractured But Whole will be available on December 6, 2016, but may be pre-purchased today for $59.99 on Steam. By pre-purchasing the game, players will receive a free copy of South Park™: The Stick of Truth™, and a companion, Towelie. Note that Ubisoft Uplay will be required to play the game.
