Sony have taken the time this week to talk about the ones that’re coming out this week, and there are some pretty heavy hitters on here. Here’s some of the highlights.
First up is Resident Evil VII. The long awaited title that appears to show the game getting back to its true horror roots. You’ll creep through the dilapidated, dark, and dangerous hallways of the Baker family mansion in the title. Played from a first-person perspective, brace yourself for a new level of immersion and survival gameplay. This game will work not only on PS4, but PS4 Pro and PSVR, thus giving you many options for how to play the game.
Another big one is an indie game that’s been in development for a while, and is now making its way to PS4.. Earthlock: Festival of Magic. This title was praised by Sony actually as a fun RPG experience that not only honors the genre it represents, but also, makes modern twists on the formula so that players can truly feel involved in many aspects of the gameplay and story.
And then, there’s Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. A title in the fan-loved Kingdom Hearts series that’s meant to be the true and final game before the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts III. A title itself that is 10 years in the making.
Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue continues three magical experiences. Including a full HD remaster of Dream Drop Distance, a new HD movie that tells the mysterious story of the Foretellers, and a brand new episode that links into Kingdom Hearts III.
