If you somehow didn’t hear, there’s a brand new console on the market and it’s one that aims to up the graphical power of the entire gaming world. It’s the Xbox One X, the world’s most powerful gaming console, and many developers are jumping on board to get their games “The Power of X”. One of those developers is Bethesda, who already had a good chunk of their hit games on the Xbox One, but now with the Xbox One X they’ll be even better.
In a post on their official website, Bethesda details why the team are putting their titles on the Xbox One X. For them, it’s a great way to see their library in a new light, all the while not having to completely make a new game for a “new” console, as the Xbox One X has the ability to wield the entire Xbox One library. So, thus, you can expect updates from many Bethesda titles including: Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Fallout 4, Skyrim Special Edition, Dishonored 2, The Evil Within 2, and Elder Scrolls Online.
Now, you might be wondering what “The Power Of X” will bring to these games. Well, the team were all too happy to detail the updates that these games will have.
For example, for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, you can not just expect 4K resolution, but also, more dynamic resolution, which will bring the game to life even more. It’ll be the same for Fallout 4, but also, you can expect a better draw distance for the game, and enhanced God Ray effects.
Dishonored 2 is going to be getting even an even bigger boost. For the game will get better framerate stability, 4K textures, improved shadow quality and anti-aliasing, and much more.
