RiME has been in development for a long time. In fact, it was revealed years ago, but then disappeared until last year where it emerged with a new look and feel. But now, after so long, it’s been released on console and PC, and the team at Grey Box couldn’t be happier. In fact, they’re so happy that the Lead Producer of the game went onto their website to talk with fans and start Letters To The Producer, where fans can ask questions about the game or its development and the team will happily respond.

To start with the open transparency, Lead Producer Cody Bradley acknowledged that not everyone is having a smooth experience with RiME. Apparently, some PC users are having issues. He notes that this is not a widespread issue, and is rather an isolated incident. However, they are going to work hard to fix this so that everyone can enjoy the game.

He notes that in the PC testing of RiME they went through several different versions to see if any problems could found. Naturally, bugs were caught, but not everything can be found in their playthroughs.

If you are having issues with RiME, the team asks you to contact them and note the problem. In fact, some issues that have been found already and a solution is on the way. Some graphics cards, mainly the AMD RX 580 cards and NVidia 1080 cards have been hurting the performance of the game. They recommend trying other options for graphics settings while they figure a more perfect solution.

The team also went into length about using Denuvo to protect the game from pirating. We recommend you read that in full to see their stance on it.
