Revelation Online is getting ready for a nifty update on April 12th, an update that will bring a new sense of urgency to Guilds, and give players a new kind of “war” to fight, the war for Stardust! You see, a brand new island is set to be unveiled in the game called Starshatter Island, and on this island there is a plethora of valuable resources. These resources will be wanted by everyone in the game, especially Guilds, as such, you’ll need to fight alongside your Guild-mates to get the resources and ensure no one else gets them!

You’ve heard of PvP, you’ve heard of PvE, but this is straight up GVG, Guild-vs-Guild, and the scale of these battles will be insane. How insane? Well, up to 400 players can be in these battles. That’s a lot of characters fighting. And Revelation Online isn’t holding back on this, as they even warn that you should be prepared for all-out war, and even grudge matches depending on who you meet on Starshatter Island.

Now of course, there is a catch to this, the island, and its wars, won’t be available all the time. In fact, it’ll only open up once a day. So you’ll have to be mindful of when it is available to battle in. Once you do though, all players will be instantly upgraded to Level 79. Furthermore, there’s another non-scaled level mode called Conquest Mode, but, you have to have a certificate to do that one.

As for the rules of the match, this isn’t a Deathmatch, it’s a waypoint protection map of sorts. You’ll have to go and secure resource points on the map for your Guild, and fight off the monsters and other players that try and get it for themselves. If you’re able to get the resource points, you win.

Does this Guild-vs-Guild war make Revelation Online more appealing? Let us know in the comments below.
