In MMORPGs, one of the most important aspects in terms of player interaction and progression is guilds. These groups are in many ways a backbone for many titles in the genre. It’s through these guilds that people come together, work together, and then go do raids or dungeons, or fight special events together, etc. Guilds are important, and yet, sometimes they could use a little more flair. Revelation Online realizes that, and thus are giving players the chance to make their guild shine. They just have to do something first.

Like what? Well, tell the Revelation Online team why their guild matters. Player Guilds are everywhere in the game, even with it being in beta, and the team wants to hear their ideas about what art and music would make their guild really stand out. Art and music? Right, well this special “March of the Guilds” event they’re doing will reward one very lucky guild with custom logo art made by the Revelation Online team, and that same guild will get a unique guild theme made by legendary composer Neal Acree.

Sound fun? Good! How do you enter? Easy! All you have to do is go to the contest section of the website, then make something from your guild to show off why they deserve to get the logo and theme. It can be a simple message to the team, it could be a picture (either living or game related) or it can even be a video (living or game related), it’s completely your call!

Just remember, the intent is to show off why your guild is the best, so be creative, work with your fellow guild mates, and see what you can come up with. Don’t settle for second place!

One note, all guilds who do participate in this will get 1,000,000 Commerce Marks.
