One of the most important goals of video games is to get them in the hands of as many people as possible, because the more people that play your games, the more the chance that you’ll get to make more. Whether it be through profit or positive word-of-mouth, getting your games to people can be positive in many ways. But to do that, sometimes you need to take your games to new platforms. Take for example Prison Architect, the hit prison-building and escape game. It’s already been on PC and consoles, so where does it go from there? To the mobile market of course!

Paradox Interactive and Introversion Software have officially launched Prison Architect: Mobile, a mobile take on their hit game. To be clear, this is only for Android and iOS tablets, however, that doesn’t mean you’ll be getting a skimmed down version of Prison Architect. Far from it, this is the same game that people have been loving, it’s just now one you can play on the go!

So, what is Prison Architect? Well, quite simply, it’s a game in which you can try and create the ultimate prison, one that is truly escape proof. But you have to work fast in your construction as your first inmates are on the way. Put Guard Towers up so you can keep an eye on everyone, make sure your prisoners are content so that they don’t get urges to leave, and make sure you have plenty of Guards to handle things should it get rowdy.

But the best part? You also get to take things from the other side, and become a prisoner yourself that wants nothing more than to escape! See if you’ve got what it take to get out in the Escape Mode! So, if you want a true test of genius and skill, then go get Prison Architect: Mobile!
