There have been reports of a Power Rangers inspired RPG titled Chroma Squad coming to most platforms pretty soon. Published by Namco Bandai Studios, the game originally was released for PC as a successful crowdfunded Kickstarter back in 2015. Blended well with an interesting soundtrack nicely crafted sprites, and quirky, yet witty humor, Behold Studios appealed to a lot of people with this title and it’s a really great opportunity to see it come to even more platforms now.
The game centers around 5 stunt actors who took the liberty of quitting their day jobs to make a Power Rangers inspired TV show. Loaded up with action and appeal, (like something else we all know) you can craft mechs to fight against other giant creatures, you can build and upgrade all of your weapons as you engage in tactical turn-based combat to increase your TV ratings.
Chroma Squad is seasons-based, has multiple endings and is loaded down with charm, and creativity as well as a ton of references to it’s roots. If you want to experience this, the game will be available on Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita by 2017. The title will be available for $15 so don’t miss out.
