Every game has the potential for updates in this modern age of gaming. The best ones though are the ones that add a great amount of content yet don’t charge the player for them. That gives the player a good reason to either keep playing, or get back to playing. For those who have the theme park building game Planet Coaster, you now have access to a massive Summer Update that’ll give you all-new things to do and build.

The Summer Update was unveiled on Steam, and highlighted a lot of what would be coming to the game. Outside of a very summer style motif, players can expect new roller coasters to build, new events to trigger, and much more. Here are a few of the highlights.

First up, a brand new tool is being added to your repertoire in the Display Sequencer. With this, you can actually cause events to happen at the push of a button. You can make some surprises happen, time things to do actions at specific points in the day, it’s your call!

What kind of things can you trigger? Well how about the all-new Fireworks option! That’s right, for the first time in Planet Coaster, you can shoot off fireworks to give you customers a real show. What’s more, there’s going to be a special fireworks competition coming up for the game, so stay tuned for more information on that!

Another brand new feature is billboards. With these, you can actually attach your own images or videos to help show off your theme park in an all-new ways.

If you’re feeling creative, more creative that is, you’ll be thrilled to know that you can now create your own Biomes in the game via this update. Through this, you’ll actually be able to create whole areas to ensure that the rides you make have the perfect backdrop. This will be available in Sandbox and Challenge Mode.

So as you can see, the Planet Coaster summer update adds a lot to the game. Be sure to check out the full page for the full breakdown.
