Pixel Action-Adventure Game Sol Bound On Kickstarter

Kickstarter allows for all kinds of games to be made, from intense shooters, to survival games, to puzzle games, and even pixel style action-adventure games. Nothing is out of bounds as long as you are willing to put in the work and go the distance. Crowquetica Games has just launched a Kickstarter for their game called Sol Bound. It’s an old-school action-adventure title that will have you trying to save two races on a dystopian world, all the while learning the value of teamwork as you fight for your lives.

In the game, you play as Danny, a kid who has just gotten the biggest break of his life: a new job in the big city. However, things go wrong almost immediately for him when a mutiny takes place there. During the chaos, Danny meets Sri, a young alien girl from a nearly extinct race. Using a special technique, Danny protect Sri by harboring her inside of him. Through their journey, they’re going to unlock a plot that threat threatens both of their peoples, and they’re going to need to some help to save the day.

Sol Bound really is about teamwork. For you see, Sri is now bound to Danny, and through “Sol Binding” Danny is able to do special attacks and abilities by channeling her power. From special attacks, being able to teleport, move objects, and more, you’ll have a lot of variety here. And of course, you’ll need to use this to both solve puzzles and defeat bad guys.

There’s a large world in Sol Bound, and along the way you’ll meet an eclectic group of characters that’ll help you, or hurt you. The title is on Kickstarter until July 30th, if you think this is one action-adventure game you’d like to play, head to the page and support it.

But if you don’t like Nintendo, you’re going down! lol
