Indie developer and publisher The Behemoth has unveiled a new update for Pit People, bringing Update 4: Vibrant Villains to Xbox One Game Preview and Steam Early Access. Vibrant Villians brings brand new missions to get stuck into, as well as 2 multi-part city quests, all across a new world map filled with 15 additional bonus missions. According to a recent press release, this tallies up to an added five hours of gameplay for players.

Accompanying this update is a discounted offer for Pit People, presenting a 20% discount off the Early Access price as part of the Steam Summer Sale. Given that its at a discounted price already as part of Early Access, this actually adds up to 45% off in total, so if you are planning on buying Pit People, now may be the cheapest time to do so. This sale is on now, and will run through to July 5th, 2017, so make the most of it whilst you can.

On the subject of discounts, other titles on Steam conjured up by The Behemoth are also on sale. Both BattleBlock Theater and Castlecrashers are 80% off, and Steam players who own either game will have the opportunity to unlock cross-game unlocks in Pit People.

As for Pit People itself, the game offers up a turn-based co-op adventure game in which players will explore, head out on quests, uncover loot, customize their own fighters as well as recruiting others and much more. The strategy game offers up a single-player and a co-op story mode, with up to four players for 2v2 Arena battles.

The game is under development for Xbox One and Steam, with a release date yet to be confirmed.
