The Grinding Gear Games developers decided to open themselves to the community by answering questions sent on their address regarding Path of Exile. During this open questions and answers period, a dozen of pages filled with questions arrived, and the developers already put their minds into one part of them. Now they decided to answer the rest of the questions before the bulk gets even bigger, so here are some of the most interesting answers posted by Chris in the official Path of Exile Forum.
One eager fan decided to ask a question about the future of his favorite action role-playing game and he wonders if there are going to be more acts or something else is on the developers’ minds. We know that only one of the five expansions that are being released has a new act and that Path of Exile will focus on different kinds of content, with and without new acts in the future. A player that had one too many fights asks if the “ignore list” is going to be made longer in the future, and we assume that he is happy right now after getting a positive answer. He will have the option to view and edit them in the future as well.
“Do you really expect to be able to release 6 acts at once without months of game breaking bugs?
An interesting question posted by Chris in the official GGG Forum had a cool answer from one of the developers. It reads that the number of acts doesn’t necessarily mean a greater number of bugs, as bugs come from new features, not from new content. It is true that in the new acts there will be new features, however, that’s why beta testing of the new acts will be held before the actual release of the acts.
The list of question and answers is really long, so if you want to see the full post check out the link above. The Path of Exile developers are still ready to take your questions, so don’t hesitate if you have any.
