As if Sanctuary wasn’t big enough already, Patch 2.6.0 in Diablo III will be bringing new locations to the game. New areas will be appearing in Act II and IV of Adventure Mode, offering up more exploration for players, more bounties to take on, and perhaps more importantly, new enemies to do battle with.
The Shrouded Moors bring swamps layered with dense fog, with scattered ancient structures throughout, and an eerie lack of human presence to go with it. Despite these traits, the feeling of being watched is ever-present, so adventurers will need to keep their wits about them. Check out the video below for a closer look:
Another point of interest will be the Temple of the Firstborn, which has since remained hidden away in the depths below Sanctuary. Until now that is, with the rise of a “new and dangerous” cult who has taken residence within, which are surely responsible for the unexplained disappearances taking place on the moors.
There is a further threat to Sanctuary with this new patch. Since the Prime Evil’s assault on the High Heavens, there has been a lot of repair work to do. All still isn’t as it seems however, as discovered by Itherael, who has unveiled strange goings on within the heaven’s libraries. There is no explanation as to what or why these events are occurring, so it’ll be up to yourself to discover what it is, under the orders of Tyrael.
So there you have it. The latest Diablo III patch is bringing some additional content to the game, which will be accompanied by the release of Necromancer class.
