Paragon Reveals “Revenant” Hero in New Trailer

Paragon is a relatively new MOBA in beta from Epic Games for PC and PlayStation 4. Since release, Paragon has accumulated a pretty large group of fans and today they have something to be excited about. A trailer dropped for the new hero, Revenant, and it looks pretty awesome.

The trailer itself is pretty cinematic in its reveal. There’s a lot of shadows and smoke and the whole thing has a very western vibe to it. In a post on the official Paragon website, Revenant is described as “an unholy melding of malevolent spirit and vicious bounty hunter.” His abilities, laid out in detail in the post, are as follows:

Hand Cannon: The Hand Cannon is a four-round revolver with automatic reload. Pretty basic, but that’s to be expected.

Hellfire Rounds: This ability allows you to reload at any time while passively adding bonus damage to the fourth shot fired.

Scar: The intrusive Scar infuses an enemy with dark energy, dealing bonus damage to the affected target.

Obliterate: This ability fires a volley of projectiles to randomly hit enemies in front of you.

Reckoning: Reckoning lets Revenant transport himself and a target to the Nether Realm, where they will engage in a duel to the death. If Revenant succeeds in killing his enemy, he collects their bounty, earning extra card power.
