Paragon is a 3rd-person action MOBA developed by Epic Games. Though they are in beta, they’re working hard to add things to the beta so that they can have a powerful launch when the time comes. Epic Games has revealed a new patch that is adding an all-new character, new skins, and much more. So here is a breakdown of everything that’s being added today!

The new character in Paragon will be very familiar to those who know a certain story from Japanese culture. Yes, Sun Wukong (or just Wukong in Paragon) is coming to the game, and much like the story Journey to the West, he will have his legendary staff with him. Now, if you’re not familiar with Journey to the West, it’s a classic story that features the Monkey King. Needless to say, Sun Wukong and Journey to the West have inspired many things, including a slew of anime, and even video games, which now includes Paragon.Paragon Wukong

The skin you see above is his “Royal Skin,” which is going to be included in the patch. Also included in the patch is a new look and weapon for Sevarog. The skin called Death Mask Sevarog gives a whole new feel to what the character can be.

Other changes to the game include fixes for certain characters. For example, Grux has had his Smash & Grab animation sped up, Steel’s Ablative Armor’s Armor Counters can’t be seen anymore through Fog Walls. And Phase’s Psychic Flare and Telekenetic Link have been adjusted to improve their visuals and mechanics. All of these Paragon additions are available now, so be sure to jump in and test them out for the team, especially with Wukong.
