In case you haven’t heard, Blizzard has released a brand new event for Overwatch called Uprising. This event is set in the past of the game’s world, and lets you experience an important mission not just for the game’s characters, but for the world at large. In fact, this is actually Tracer’s very first mission. Basically, the Omnics have risen and taken over King’s Row, You and your friends will play as Tracer, Torbjörn, Reinhardt, or Mercy and try to get the city back, else this will be just the beginning.
For many, this is a very cool event, but as some on Reddit are noting, there’s a very large difficulty that comes with Legendary Mode. As Prof_EobardThawne notes:
“There’s a lot of concern going around that this mode is nigh impossible to deal with. I’m here to tell you that it’s true.”
Now, to be fair, the difficulty is relative to the player and the team playing the event, however, a lot of Redditors have chimed in and said that this mode is very, very hard.
Thawne also notes that communication is absolutely essential here. Not just for making calculated attacks and strikes, but for letting other teammates note that someone like Bastion has entered the battlefield, which will change how you play considerably.
This is actually one of the reasons players are saying this Legendary Mode is hard, for if you don’t have a team that’ll work together, you will fail. One player noted that while playing as Mercy, no one on his team would heal him.
Some players openly admitted that they’ll likely only beat this even on certain modes, as skill and teamwork are needed to have victory. Some even asked a very interesting question about this event given the difficulty:
“Brings me to wonder how the original Tracer survived to tell the tale…” asks Latencyneo.
If you’re looking for some help to make the event go a little smoother, Prof_EobardThawne made a guide to help you get through it. Have you tried Overwatch Uprising? What’s your experience with it? Let us know in the comments below.
