Let’s be honest, video games are a beautiful thing, but they aren’t without their flaws. We’re not just talking about bad games here, even the best ones, the masterpieces have faults of their own. That doesn’t make them bad games, but sometimes it can sour the mood when you’re gaming. For Overwatch, there’s been a lot of complaints from the community about characters and balance issues. But is that the limit of what these players don’t like about the game?
This was the question of Battle.net user Jamster, who asked the very simple question: “What’s Your Least Favorite Thing About This Game?” A fair question, and one that got a menagerie of responses.
For example, Jamster doesn’t like that teammates don’t seem to capitalize on enemy mistakes, even when they’re very obvious. While some players like Jamster went very specific, some players went more broad with their complaints:
“The playerbase.” one player noted.
As blunt as that sounds, it honestly is a continued complaint with hear about the Overwatch community. To reinforce that notion, over 30 people upvoted that comment.
For others, it was gameplay that was the biggest issues.
“The matchmaking/ranking system. It ruins the whole game for me.” stated another, with many agreeing with them.
This is honestly another issue we hear about a lot in the game. While some matchmaking elements are very fair, some players note that the teams aren’t as balanced as Blizzard might believe they are. Add to that, there are cheaters who intentionally throw games so they can get into lesser leagues and dominate, and you have some fair gripes.
Other complaints include players who use characters they don’t know how to control. Blizzard not fixing bugs that are stated by players repeatedly (or taking a long time to do so), certain characters themselves were the bane of some Overwatch players existence.
What are your problems with Overwatch? Big or small, we want to hear them.
