With Halloween right around the corner, many Overwatch fans will be expecting to see a repeat of last year’s seasonal event, Junkenstein’s Revenge. Whilst it may not be expected to be the exact same event, there is at least plenty of expectation for there to be something spooky going on in the Blizzard shooter by the end of the month.
And it appears as if that could well be what we are getting. A recent leak on 4chan has revealed that there will be a new seasonal event taking place entitled Halloween Terror 2017, with the leaked image being displayed below.
According to the leak, this will work in a similar fashion to the recent Summer Games event, which used last year’s skins as well as new ones for players to earn. This will allegedly be accompanied by over 50 new items, including a jester skin for Sombra, as well as sprays and voice lines. It looks like it will be taking place from October 10th, and will run through until October 31st.
The leak also details a new support hero known as Zeno, who is currently in the late stages of development. Zeno is equipped with a ‘goo’ launcher that forms a yellow pool that heals team mates and damages enemies.
It’s not really that far-fetched of a rumor, really. There is more than likely going to be a Halloween event if Blizzard is continuing the trend, and there has been talks of new heroes being in development already.
