Today, Nexon Korea has introduced a channelling service for the MMORPG ArcheAge, which is developed by XL Games. This new implemented service once opened will allow anyone aged 18 or over with a Nexon account to experience ArcheAge via the Nexon Portal.
Created with Crye Engine 3, ArcheAge has been thoroughly praised since its inception of formal service back in 2013. Said praise comes from its attention to detail, with excellent graphics, plentiful freedom and its vast scale. Another positive for ArcheAge is its overall expression of the external environment throughout, showcasing many traits that are familiar with the genre.
In celebration of the channelling service being brought into ArcheAge, permanent items and other goodies will be available free of charge, including a Mirage Bear and Labor Force (500) and more. Additionally, those who sign up for Nexon Play, the official mobile application, will have access with friends to the new Kiprosa server, after which you will receive a coupon for ‘Life Style Aki: Seven Days’ and Golden Cat Underwear’ once you reach level 40.
With the opening of the new Kyprosa server, there is likely long login queues awaiting you, something that players in other regions have suffered from when trying to access ArcheAge. This has been an issue that plagued the game not so long ago, with the likelihood that this new server could see the same fate.
Housing construction meanwhile will be available on January 22nd, and those looking to create a new account will no longer have access to characters on previous servers.
