New Trailer Drops for HTML5 MMORPG Mad World

Jandisoft has today released a trailer for Mad World, their current project which presents a HTML5 MMORPG. The game’s narrative sees humans attempting to survive in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world of eerie inhabitants. Check out the multiplayer combat trailer below:

Jandisoft is a studio founded by the team who worked on the hit MMORPG Metin 2. Hailing from Korea, the team is looking to deliver an MMORPG in the way of HTML5, bringing an experience without boundaries. This will be playable on practically any platform that has a connection to the internet, with Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android all confirmed to host the game, with more platforms including consoles and browser-enabled platforms being considered by the developers.

Mad World intends to bring everything that makes the MMORPG genre so unique, offering up fast-paced action that will both engage and excite players. Accompanying this will be a stunningly hand-drawn 2D world, as well as an in depth story for you to get stuck into. The methodology of the game’s combat offers a simple yet addictive style of gameplay, which is heightened when joined by hundreds of other players in both PVE and PVP aspects.

Ultimately despite these core elements of massive multiplayer online games that we see quite often, Mad World hopes to break new boundaries by becoming the first game to take full advantage of HTML5, and take its rightful place on the grand stage of the game industry.

A release date for Mad World has been penned for release sometime in 2018.
