Having launched just a few weeks ago in Taiwan, Kingdom Under Fire II has been subject to a media event that has highlighted what content is in store in the near future, predominantly focusing on the new Elementalist playable class of the Higher Elf race. This class’ role will take advantage of control spells such as wind magic to keep your foes at bay.
As the Elementalist, you’ll have the ability to summon pets which link up with your new class to perform a number of different combative combinations, teaming up with the likes of a golem, jaguar, and a bear. Check out the reveal trailer shared by MMOCulture.
Developers Blueside, who used their in-house Blueside Engine 3, has confirmed that the new class will enter the Taiwanese server on June 15th. They have also revealed that new classes will be added to the game every four to five months, before an eventual console released set for 2018. Given this promised injection of additional content over the coming months, as well as an eventual console release, the future seems to be bright going forward for the game.
Originally announced back in January 2008, Kingdom Under Fire II has been subject to a number of delays, before eventually entering closed beta testing in December 2011 in South Korea. A PlayStation 4 version was announced to be in development in November 2013, and as stated earlier, looks set to release sometime next year.
