A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway, offering an unlimited gaming subscription service entitled Just4Gamers. Presenting a gaming equivalent of the Netflix subscription service, Just4Gamers allows players to access the best video games quickly and easily with their computer.
The project is being run by a group of students with a passion for video games, who want to bring about a service that offers people the chance to play their desired games without having to splash out on the games themselves.
The service works by downloading a small part of the game you want to play to your hard drive, whilst the remainder of the game progressively loads onto your PC. This gives fellow gamers the experience of playing the game in 100% quality and free of any lag. In addition, the team are offering a virtualization of components so players can play practically any game regardless of its high range.
As of this time, 40 titles are expected to be included in the beta, which will feature a mixture of both indie and large company titles. The campaign’s goal revolves around continuing to grow the catalog of games without having to increase the monthly subscription fee. The following image presents the titles that the project hopes to offer by the end of 2017. The campaign has 30 days left to run, with the hope of reaching the goal of $20,000.
