There’s no denying the obvious comparisons between both Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th: The Game, given that they are both online slashers in which a relentless killer hunts survivors in the most barbaric ways possible.

Yet it looks like the highly successful Dead by Daylight is going to be rubbing shoulders with Friday the 13th in another way. Obviously the latter features mainstay antagonist and hockey mask dweller Jason Voorhees, whilst DBD will finally be bringing the 80s horror icon Michael Myers to the game as part of the long-awaited Halloween console DLC.

If you’re a fan of the Halloween franchise, then you’re in luck with this set of DLC. The white-masked killer will hunt down four survivors in Haddonfield, Illinois. In addition to this, a playable survivor will be Laurie Strode, portrayed by Jamie Lee Curtis in both the original film and sequels that followed. Her perks include the ability to avoid Myers’ grasp once per match after being grabbed, whilst the killer himself grows more powerful as he closes in on a survivor, with the ability to deal double damage.

PC players already have the Halloween DLC available to them, whilst Dead By Daylight console players will be able to get their hands on it when it releases on PS4 and Xbox One this August.

The big question is: Who poses the greatest threat, Jason Voorhees or Michael Myers? My money personally is on Myers, and will make a great addition to an already great game in Dead by Daylight.
