The MMORPG addition to the Elder Scrolls series, the Elder Scrolls Online, is releasing its Morrowind DLC in June. In order to keep players excited for the new content, the developers have been releasing bits of information to the public. Recently, they started to introduce us to some of the main characters from the Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind DLC. Today, we learned about Seryn.
Seryn, according to the post on the Elder Scrolls Online website, is an Ashlander mage. Written in a lore-friendly way by the character Armiger Urnsi, the post states that Seryn has a way with words and skill in battle. Apparently, Urnsi was reporting on the activities of the Ashlander tribes and found Seryn to be quite perplexing.
Some diplomats are all talk and little action, but Seryn demonstrated a surprisingly effective knack for both during my observations of the gathering tribes.
From the quote above it’s clear to see that this character is not to be trifled with and will likely produce some solid story content in the Morrowind DLC. The post also makes reference to a member of Seryn’s family – Chodala, a young and robust leader of his Ashlander tribe. It is likely that he may be next in the Elder Scrolls Online Meet the Character series, or perhaps he’s just an important part of the Morrowind DLC.
For those that might not know, the Ashlanders are a group of Dark Elves native to Morrowind. They live in nomadic tribes, refusing the religion most Dark Elves have taken to and instead believe something entirely different. they were quite prevalent in the original Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind back in 2002 and the addition of this character tells us they will likely be prevalent in the DLC as well.
If you’re interested in playing the Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind DLC then you can preorder a copy now. There is an ongoing closed beta for the content that anyone who preorders can be a part of. If you choose to play on PC or Mac, you will also be able to play the DLC on the megaserver as of the 22nd of this month.
