Life is Feudal puts you into a medieval world that you can live in as well as shape from the ground up. Mindillusion is expanding the franchise with a new take on the formula with Life Is Feudal: Forest Village. This game, which is now on Steam, lets you build a new home for a group of people that have made their way to a dense forest island in order to make a new life.

Life Is Feudal: Forest Village is very hands on, and you’ll need to be that way in order to keep your group alive. For example, this is a true survival game as well as a city builder, so you’ll need to get them food, water, shelter, make sure they can defend themselves against whatever may get thrown against them from animals, to weather events, to invading armies. All might happen, so prepare them well.

Plus, if you don’t think the land is proper enough, you can actually terraform it to fit your standards. Or, if you don’t think that the people are going fast enough in their construction of certain things, you can possess them, and do it yourself to make it go faster.

The world of Life Is Feudal: Forest Village is dynamic, and ever changing. Much like the real world there will be weather events, potential diseases that can wreak havoc on the village, and the ecosystem is alive and can cause its own problems. The morale of your people needs to be monitored. If your population grows, so too does the space needed to contain them. It’s a real breathing world and you need to be watching all of it.

So, if you think you have what it takes to build a new life for people, hop onto Steam to get the game.
