Many games go through a long and arduous process before getting released to the world. Nowadays though, that process becomes a lot more involved with the playerbase. This happens through Alpha testing, Betas, and even Steam Early Access. For RPG Legrand Legacy, their time on Steam Early Access is coming up, and they’re working hard to make sure that the build that goes onto Steam Early Access is good enough for players to really dive into it. So, they’re taking steps.

Primarily, as revealed on their Steam page, there are a bunch of testers and volunteers going through the game to make sure it’s ready. A special note that they made was that anyone who pledged to the Cartographer tier on their Kickstarter (and any tiers above that) will be getting access even sooner than others. The team also made a special note saying that players shouldn’t fear Legrand Legacy going the route of certain other Kickstarter projects. Though delays may happen, they assure you that this game will be made, and will be made to quality.

But what is Legrand Legacy? Well, it’s described as a spiritual successor to many different JRPGs, and as such has many different aspects and layers to it. The game itself focuses on you, as you play a young boy named Finn who one day awakes with no memories of his past. But, he soon discovers he has incredible powers. Seeking to save his world from war, he fights alongside the Fatebound to prevent many dark dangers from having their way.

The world is being rendered in both 2D, 3D, and FMV, showcasing the talent and scope that the team have. There’s also a fresh take on turn-based combat that’ll surely get people excited.

Legrand Legacy will be hitting Steam Early Access soon, stay tuned for more info.
