Earlier this month, the EU LCS Summer Split started. Once again, 10 best teams in Europe clash to grab their place for the Final round of LCS, which will grant them the opportunity to battle for a place in the World Championship tournament.
Summer Split will last 9 weeks, and the teams will be playing the best of two. Depending on the results, the points will be allocated, therefore, if the match results in 2:0 the winning team receives 3 points. On the other hand, if the match ends as a tie, the teams will receive 1 point each.
Currently, the leaderboard is everything but one-sided. First place is divided between two great teams; Fnatic and G2 Esports with 7 points. Second place (or should we say third) is also shared by H2k-gaming and Splyce with 5 points. For more detailed information about placements feel free to follow this link.
The first week ended up pretty colorful, but we don’t want to spoil it if you haven’t seen it yet. But, what we will say is that you can catch up here for all those missed matches.
On a side note, the Fnatic is really looking strong which is expected from the oldest team in the European League of Legends competitive scene, but we wouldn’t toss aside all the newcomers.
We’ll be following the LCS Summer Split, so stay tuned and check out the hottest news regarding Leauge of Legends competitive scene right here.
