League of Legends has announced today that they’ve updated the visual splashes for Karma, known as the Enlightened One and a popular meta support pick. To coincide with the changes, they’re putting her Legacy skins up for sale in the in-game shop.

League of Legends Karma Legacy Skins

Legacy skins are not typically available for purchase in League of Legends, except during the occasional special event. This happens to be one of those events, because players have the opportunity to purchase Traditional Karma, Sun Goddess Karma, and Winter Wonder Karma. These Legacy skins will only be available through April 12th.

Players will have to spend Riot Points (RP) to acquire these champions. Under normal circumstances, this does mean spending actual money to get the skins, unless you’ve managed to acquire some RP another way. These skins, like most, are not available for purchase via the Influence Points (IP) that players accrue just from playing matches.

Prices vary on these Legacy skins, starting with Sun Goddess Karma at 750 RP, Traditional Karma at 975 RP, and Winter Wonder Karma at 1350 RP. Fans of the Enlightened One can also pick up the Renewed Mantra Bundle, which includes the three Legacy skins as well as Order of the Lotus Karma, Sakura Karma, and Warden Karma. This bundle is also available only through April 12th, but gives players a 30% discount on the whole pack of Karma skins at 3723 RP.

The announcement of the Legacy skin sale has already begun to draw ire from the community. Players who already had the Legacy skins feel like putting the skins on sale again decreases their value, and have expressed their sentiments via the comments on the post. It is always possible to acquire a random Legacy skin, even when they are not available in the shop, via Hextech Crafting and Mystery Gifting.
